amendment 12 (choosing the president and vp) When voting for president the people will elect electors who will vote for their candidate. Then, in front of congress, the votes will be counted, majority wins. For president, if there is no majority, then the House of Reprsentatives chooses for the people. If there is no majority for the vice president then the senate will choose the candidate.

amendment 14 (rights of citizens) People born or naturalized in the US are citizens of the US and the US cannot deprive them of rights without good reason. If you have commited treason you cannot be a member of congress. All debts are final and the US is not obliged to pay the debts of rebellion or slavery.
